Each year, hundreds of aspiring queer filmmakers submit their films for competition in the PlanetOut Short Movie Awards. A jury decides the best film of the bunch and awards the lucky grand-prize winner with a check for $10,000 and a chance to screen the winning film at the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
But now we want you to be a critic!
PlanetOut members can now watch and vote on which of the 20 finalists for the 2007 PlanetOut Short Movie Awards you think should win the coveted Members' Choice Award, sponsored by Scion.
Speaking of Scion, did we mention the car? When you cast your vote for the winning film, you'll be entered in a sweepstakes for a chance to win a 2007 Scion xA. Nice ride!
No purchase necessary to enter. Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the continental United States and the District of Columbia who at time of entry are: 18 or older; possess a valid US driver's license and are members of PlanetOut.com or Gay.com. Sweepstakes ends at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on 3/1/07.
